Since the patent on Nexium in the United States expired, other companies are producing the drug without the need for a doctor’s prescription. The U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet issued a warning about the expiration of the Nexium patent, which will expire on July 30, 2025.

The results showed that the drug improved heart failure symptoms in people with heart failure. The drug did not improve the severity of heart failure, which was the same in the control group.
phase 2 of the study was to include all patients. The patients were randomly assigned to take either a placebo (placebo) or an intervention group with Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium). The patients had a 30-minute walk test on their health at baseline and at 6 months. They were asked to complete four questions about heart failure symptoms and the severity of heart failure. All patients were given a 24-hour, seven-day treatment.
Phase 3 was to evaluate the impact of the medication on patients’ overall health. The study was stopped early because of adverse events that may have led to the deaths. There was no change in heart failure symptoms in the study group.
Phase 4 was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial that assessed the effects of the medication on people with heart failure. The patients were asked to complete eight questions on a health questionnaire. The results showed that the medication did not significantly improve heart failure symptoms. The medication did improve the severity of heart failure and was not associated with an increase in heart failure events.
Phase 5 was to examine the impact of the medication on patients’ risk of heart attack and stroke.
Phase 6 was a randomized, controlled trial of Nexium in people with heart failure. The medication was not associated with an increase in heart failure events.
